Another mainstay at The Pines is raising hay. Spring, summer and fall, we watch the weather to determine cutting time. We strive to cut our hay at the peak time to obtain superior quality. Haying is also a family affair for us. Square bales require extra hands including our son, our oldest daughter and her boyfriend, nephews, friends and our youngest daughter supervises.
